Latest Walk: Beachy Head Circular

Despite the forecast of wet weather, there was a good turnout for Simon’s walk in the Beachy Head area. Starting and finishing at East Dean village car park, it took in the South Downs Way, Beachy Head itself, and the Seven Sisters. Lunch was at the pub on Beachy Head, which was generally good, although Steve was unhappy with his fish.

If you attended the walk, and would like to add a comment, feel free to do so.

  1. Thank you Simon for a lovely walk; weather much better than I had been anticipating and some challenging hills to stretch the leg muscles.

  2. Sorry i couldn’t make it, family emergency, hope everyone had a good walk. hopefully see you on the next time.

    1. Thanks Kevin. It was funny, Beachy Head pub messed up my meal, gave me battered frozen rock hard fish, had to survive on onion rings! Hope family ok.

  3. Thanks for the walk Simon. The views were lovely, it was nice to see the first lambs of 2013 and I’m very pleased it didn’t rain anywhere nearly as much as the weather forecast predicted!

  4. Yes thanks Simon for the walk. I really enjoyed it! Thanks Emily for the lift back too. And Steve for the link to the info about the gate :o) Was very nice to meet you all and see you on another walk soon.
