Latest Walk: Burpham Circular

Unfortunately, the weather was not great for today’s walk, as we all got rather wet! Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable ramble over the South Downs from Burpham to Amberley and back again. Lunch was taken at the Tea Rooms in Amberley. On the way back, we braved a field of cows to see the famous Gurka Bridge. Some photos of the walk should follow soon.

Many thanks to Emily for leading the walk. If you attended and would like to leave a comment, feel free to do so.

  1. Another stunning part of sussex around burpham. Really nice. Weather made things bit soggy but loved the river walk and good to see the transformation of telephone box into tourist info. No horses today but did see some long haired sheep! Thanks emily for organising it really well.

  2. Emily your best walk to date! Fantastic location, very rural and interesting villages and bridges. Thank you for leading it.
