Latest Walk: East of Balcombe

Today’s walk took us south from Balcombe towards Haywards Heath and back again. As promised we passed the Ouse Valley Viaduct, Ardingly Reservoir and Wakehurst Gardens, which made this the most scenic of walks. We also saw some deer – at a distance.┬áSome photos of these attractions should follow soon. It was muddy in places and a little windy, but generally walking conditions were good.

Many thanks to Peter for leading the walk. If you attended and wish to leave a comment, feel free to do so.

    1. Thanks Emily, I think it was you putting the waterproof cover on your backpack that bought us the luck – lack of rain!
