Latest Walk: Shoreham/Upper Beeding Circular

Unfortunately I was unable to attend today’s walk. The walk leader, Steve D, has supplied the following report:

Today’s walk was an 11 mile walk around the back of Shoreham taking in views of Lancing College, the airport, and the river Adur. With a pub lunch at the Kings Head in Upper Beading near Bramber, the weather managed to hold off well and we past Mill Hill nature reserve and Erringham Farms (old and new). The walk included myself, Steve K and Mark. The beer garden at the Kings Head had plenty of tables and was a pleasant place for a Sunday afternoon lunch. We returned along the river Adur back to the Red Lion where the walk started and saw people sadly remembering the recent Shoreham Air crash victims with many flowers and messages on the old Toll Bridge at Shoreham.

If you went on this walk and would like to comment please feel free to do so below.
