Latest Walk: Six Harbour Villages

Unfortunately I was unable to attend, but Steve D supplied the following brief report on today’s walk:

Today’s walk was a 10 mile walk, starting at Bosham train station, initially heading towards Fishbourne, then past a boat yard, a mariner, then onto West Itchenor for lunch at the Ship Inn. Then we took a ferry crossing on a motor boat across the channel to Bosham Hoe, and walked back to Bosham via Chidham.

If you went on this walk and would like to comment please feel free to do so below.

  1. Thank you Steve D. This was a perfect walk for a warm summers day. It was lovely walking through the cornfields and beside the water seeing all the boats. The ferry crossing was a particularly nice feature and good pub choice. Well done.

    1. Thanks Emily very best of luck for when you go to Oz, am pleased I got to see you before leaving and we hope to see you again very soon in 18 months time, best wishes Steve…

  2. Many thanks Steve D. With all the water and boats it was a nice change to the usual walks and the ferry crossing was something different too. Photos to follow.

    1. Cheers Mark we certainly took some good photos indeed yesterday, I have some good ones but they will never be as good as your camera and photo technique 🙂

  3. Hi Steve D
Thanks for guiding the walk on Sunday and very nice mix of fields, estuary and nice to go on the boat at the end. Also nice food at the pub too! Kind regards Simon
