The weather was superb for today’s walk, possibly the hottest of the year. The mud has most dried out, so conditions under foot were good. Also, the bluebells were out in force. The walk took us south from Wisborough Green, before swinging round to the west and then north to the village of Kirdford. As the Half Moon is currently closed, we went instead to the Foresters Arms, which, despite appearances due to the ongoing work on the outside of the building, is currently open. Lunch was very good in the pub garden. In the afternoon, we made our way back to Wisborough Green.
Many thanks to everyone who came on the walk. If you attended and would like to comment, feel free to do so.
