Latest Walk: Warninglid Circular

As Steve had warned us, parking was tricky at the start point of the walk in Slaugham, due to the Church service there. We were delayed a little getting going as a couple of walkers were slowed down by roadworks, and also by the efforts of the rector, who spotted us seated outside the church, and tried to “spread the word”, particularly to Mike.

The walk took us down past Warninglid and back through the woods and fields. We ate lunch next to a furnace lake. The weather was hot but fortunately there was a decent amount of shelter on the way, especially at lunch time.

Many thanks to Steve for leading the walk. If you attended, and would like to leave a comment, feel free to do so.

  1. An enjoyable walk in very scenic countryside. Great views and a lot to see. I painstakingly plotted the ramble on my computer and worked it out to be about 9.3 miles. Good job Steve, look forward to the next one. Dan
