Mark has kindly supplied some photos taken on the recent “Arundel to Slindon Circular” walk. We started at Arundel Station, then passed through Arundel itself, before making our way through the woods to Slindon. We returned by a similar route.
We start with a photo of Arundel’s famous castle.
Here we can see the group making its way through the along one of the town’s cobbled streets.
We soon entered the woods, which offered useful cover later on when it started to rain!
Later we emerged into the open countryside.
Here we can see the walk leader Steve and group leader James consulting the map.
We were a bit nervous in the field beyond this gate…
…although the cattle proved to be curious rather than hostile.
The Spur proved to be a pleasant place to eat our lunch, although it was rather busy.
